Free speech in Germany

Apparently there is no free speech in Germany. You can face a fine or a short time in jail for swearing at someone. Here, a Left politician faces such penalty for referring to Thilo Sarrazin as an ass. Thilo Sarrazin is the best-selling author of an anti-immigrant book.

A country in which you cannot call a racist an asshole without suffering penalties from the state is not a free country.
